Biography

Ms. Alex Wouk served as Director of Asset Management at Twain Financial Partners. Alex Wouk joined Twain Financial Partners in July 2014. Alex leads the Asset Management team for Twain, focused on State New Markets Tax Credits (SNMTCs), Historic Tax Credits (HTCs), and Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Ms. Wouk also manages the Syndication investor relations platform and closes various tax credit transactions. Prior to joining Twain, Alex was an Asset Manager with U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) for nearly 4 years. While at USBCDC, Alex specialized in managing NMTC and HTC investments post close. Alex's focus was on restructuring challenging assets to both manage compliance and mitigate risk. Alex worked closely with a wide range of partners, including developers, lenders, investors, sponsors, consultants, and CDEs. Alex began her undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
