Biography

Mr. Richard Whyte served as Managing Director at Endeavor Energy Holdings. He served as Chief Technology Officer at Endeavor Energy Holdings. He more than 25 years of operations & maintenance, development, construction and management experience to his role with Endeavor Energy. Mr. Whyte has been involved in various project development activities in Africa, Europe and Middle East since 1996.Having a portfolio of projects in excess of $0.75B, specifically in Sudan, Togo, Nigeria, Rwanda Nigeria and the Middle East; Mr. Whyte has significant development engineering experience, inclusive of project financing, the EPC and operations & maintenance of reciprocating and rotating engine technologies. Mr. Whyte has worked extensively in Africa, Europe and Middle East regions, with Parsons Brinckerhoff, where he was Director of Generation Development, heading a team of generation, environmental and renewable energy industry professionals, supporting development projects; most recently with PX Limited, providing lead development, engineering & projects support; previously as Vice President with ContourGlobal and Technical Services Director with Enron International. Mr. Whyte is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and is an IIEE "Henry Williams" award winner.
