Biography

Mr. Andrew Gesell serves as Senior Advisor at Rubicon Technology Partners. Previously, he was a Partner at Court Square Capital (CSC) investing in technology and telecommunications companies from 2005 to 2012 and had joined CSC's predecessor firm, Citigroup Venture Capital (CVC) as a Principal in 2004. He has been involved in the execution of privately negotiated proprietary transactions, corporate carve-outs and multiple follow-on acquisitions for investments including ANCILE Solutions, Inc., CompuCom Systems, Inc., Fibertech Networks, Newmarket, Inc., Ntelos, Rocket Software, Inc. and SPS. He has over 20 years of experience working with middle-market technology companies, initially as an advisor and then as an investor. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Personify, Inc. He has previously served the Board of Directors of Ancile Solutions, CompuCom Systems, Inc., SPS, Fibertech Networks, Newmarket, Inc., Rocket Software and Ntelos (NASDAQ: NTLS). Prior to his time at CSC and its precursor, CVC, He was a Director in the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) Technology Group in Palo Alto, where he was responsible for corporate finance coverage of the semiconductor industry. He started his career at CSFB in New York in the LBO sponsor coverage and leveraged finance group where he developed a sector specialty in the young market for leverage in the technology sector. He received a B.A. in Zoology from George Washington University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
