Biography

Mr. Mark McCool served as Vice President of Operations at Sheridan Production Partners. Mr. McCool has over 30 years of oil and gas operations experience both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining Sheridan in 2007, Mr. McCool most recently held the position of Texas Gulf Coast Region Production Manager for El Paso E&P, where he was responsible for all field operations, engineering, construction and production accounting functions. Prior to El Paso E&P, Mr. McCool spent 16 years at Apache in positions of increasing responsibility including Western States Production Supervisor, Operations Manager of Qarun concession in Egypt, Production Superintendent in the Permian Basin, Operations Manager for Khalda concessions in Egypt, and District Manager Northwest Canada. While at El Paso E&P and Apache, Mr. McCool worked with Lisa Stewart and Jim Bass, Sheridan's Chief Investment Officer and Chief Executive Officer, respectively. Prior to Apache, Mr. McCool spent eight years with Tenneco Oil Company in the San Juan Basin as Production Supervisor. Throughout his career, Mr. McCool has played a key part in the transition of operations for new asset acquisitions. Mr. McCool attended New Mexico State University.
