Biography

Mr. Vito Menza serves as Managing Director & Assistant Portfolio Manager at Sandler Capital Management. Mr. Menza is also a general equity research analyst and searches for new equity ideas across multiple sectors, combining fundamental and technical analysis, and pooling information from a number of sources. As assistant portfolio manager, he closely follows the macro environment and assists Andrew Sandler in portfolio construction, position sizing, hedging, and overall risk management. He may also initiate positions and add to existing positions, subject to defined limits. Prior to joining Sandler Capital, Mr. Menza was an analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Hedge Fund Research Sales Division where he gained experience generating investment ideas for clients. He has an A.B. in Economics and Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College.
