Biography

Ms. Nishita Cummings serves as Managing Partner & Co-Head of Growth Equity at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. She is a Managing Director for Kayne Anderson Capital Advisor's growth private equity activities. She serves as a Board Member at Klearnow, Panzura, and Circle Cardiovascular Imaging. She serves as a Board Observer at Treez. She serves as a Board Member at TeleMed2U. She is responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies, and deal execution. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2007, she worked at Boston Avenue Capital, a value-oriented activist hedge fund focused on micro-cap and small-cap public companies, where she focused on investments in retail/apparel, medical technology, and software companies. Additionally, she has held positions at LEK Consulting and the Wharton Small Business Development Center. She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she pursued a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the School of Engineering. She also serves as a Board Member at Cryptzone Group and FreightWaves. She served as a Board Member at Atlas RFID Solutions.
