Biography

Mr. Michael Liddell serves as Managing Director at Solebury Capital. He joined Solebury Capital Group as a Vice President in 2012 from Nomura Securities, bringing nearly ten years of sell-side research and buy-side investing experience. Mike is a CFA Charterholder and is an active member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. Prior to joining Nomura, Mike was a research analyst at Millennium Partners and Goldman Sachs. Mike started his career at Ernst & Young as a tax consultant, where he earned his CPA license. At Nomura, Mike was a key contributor to the launch of the US telecom services and cable & satellite research coverage. While at Nomura, he helped to coordinate the broader Nomura TMT sector research on key issues that impacted both the media and telecom sectors. At Millennium, a ~$10bn multi-strategy global hedge fund, Mike performed fundamental analysis for the media, telecom, and technology-specific hedge fund team, with a primary focus, on the global advertising, entertainment, telecom, and cable & satellite sectors. Prior to Millennium, Mike spent six years as a member of Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Research division, covering the media and telecom sectors. At Goldman Sachs, Mike helped to initiate coverage on over 20 companies and had experience covering the cable, broadcasting, outdoor advertising, live entertainment, and video games sectors. Mike earned undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Finance from Lehigh University.
