Biography

Mr. Eric Stephenson served as a Managing Director & Equity Research Analyst at Sandler Capital Management. He joined Sandler Capital in 2012. As a Equity Research Analyst, he focuses on the energy sector. Prior to joining Sandler Capital, Mr. Stephenson was a senior energy analyst for a long/short equity team at Geosphere Capital Management, LLC and previously at Hunter Global Investors LP where he covered energy and industrials. Before joining Hunter, he was an analyst/portfolio manager at Melleos Capital Management where he focused on energy and other cyclical sectors. Mr. Stephenson spent the first part of his career in corporate finance as a high-yield analyst at Bank of America and BT Alex Brown. He has a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from Texas Tech University and a M.S. from Columbia University. Mr. Stephenson is a CFA charterholder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and the CFA Institute.
