Bob Gorman General Information
Biography
Mr. Bob Gorman served as Managing Director & Global Co-Head of Sales and Client Service at Sandler Capital Management. He focused on key institutional relationships for their hedge fund products. As Senior Vice President at Wood Creek Capital from 2007 through 2009, Mr. Gorman led the marketing effort for various alternative products including, amongst others, real assets, music and pharmaceutical royalties. Prior to Wood Creek Capital, Mr. Gorman managed the institutional marketing of alternative products and traditional products aimed at consultants, plan sponsors, endowments and foundations for Dalton, Greiner, Hartman and Maher from 2000 through 2007. Mr. Gorman began his career at Bankers Trust in 1986 where he spent 15 years and became a Director of the firm. During his tenure, he sold various asset management, credit and derivative products and ultimately led a new sales organization aimed to address the needs of various industry sectors (e.g. insurance, banks, mutual funds, etc.). Mr. Gorman holds a BA in Mathematics from Providence College and an MBA in Finance/Operations Management from Columbia University. Mr. Gorman is on the Board of Trustees at Providence College.
