Biography

Mr. Juan Pita is a Co-Founder & serves as Managing Partner at Eastfield Capital. Mr. Pita served as Principal at Freeman Spogli. Mr. Pita also served as a Vice President at MBF Healthcare Partners. He has over 8 years of private equity and investment banking experience spanning due diligence, deal execution, portfolio company management and operational value creation. Prior to joining MBF, he was a Senior Associate at Tower Three Partners from 2013-2016. Tower Three Partners is a middle market private equity firm focused on driving operational improvement at underperforming companies. While at Tower Three, he evaluated investment opportunities across automotive, healthcare, industrial, restaurant and other industries. He served on the Board of Facet Technologies, a medical device company focused on diabetes and served as a Board Observer at The Paslin Company and NTS Communications. Prior to joining Tower Three, he was an Associate at Bain Capital in both investment and portfolio company value creation roles from 2008-2011. From 2010-2011, he was a member of Bain Capital's North American Private Equity Portfolio Group, where he was responsible for the oversight of and hands-on value creation work with Guitar Center, one of Bain Capital's largest investments. From 2008-2010, he was an investment professional at Bain Capital Ventures, where he focused on middle market buyouts in addition to growth equity investments in a variety of industries including healthcare, consumer, education and others. He began his career as an analyst within Jefferies and Company's investment banking division, where he focused on leveraged finance, in addition to public and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions. While pursuing his MBA, he also completed internships in high-yield and distressed debt investing at Verition Fund Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund, as well as turnaround management at Excel Automotriz, a leading automotive importer, distributor and retailer in Central America.
