Biography
Mr. Mark Pols served as Executive, Corporate Development at Meta Platforms. He served as Principal at GGV Capital. He focuses on the e-commerce, online travel, and alternative finance sectors. Prior to joining GGV, Mark worked in Amazon's corporate development group where he looked after partnerships, acquisitions and investments in China. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker for 15 years of which he spent 8 years in China executing financing and strategic transactions for many of China's leading technology companies. During his time in China, Mark established Piper Jaffray's local offices in Shanghai before returning to Morgan Stanley's technology investment banking team for whom he had previously worked in London and Silicon Valley.
