Biography

Mr. Robert Swerling serves as Operating Partner at Sprints (London). Mr. Swerling served as Co-Chief Executive Officer at The Up Group. He joined the company in 2013 from Livebookings, an online restaurant booking platform backed by Balderton Capital and Wellington Partners, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. At Livebookings, He looked after Product, Marketing, Engineering, Infrastructure, Operations, Customer Services, eCommerce, Data, Analytics, and UX & Design. Prior to this, He was the Head of Commerce Partnerships EMEA for Google and subsequently Principal, New Business Development. Previously, He was the co-founder and COO of Credit Market Analysis, now part of McGraw-Hill following a successful exit in 2008. He is a venture partner in a VC fund, and a member of H2, the global digital executive network. He is also an active investor in, and mentor to, a number of successful start-ups. In his early career, He practised as a Barrister, having secured First Class degrees from Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
