Biography

Mr. William McCormick served as Chief Financial Officer at Pitcairn. Bill was responsible for directing Pitcairn's overall financial policies. He provides oversight to accounting, audit support and coordination, corporate credit and treasury management, financial and management accounting, and budget reporting. His role is also to ensure compliance with accounting principles as well as accounting and reporting guidelines issued by FASB, SEC, PA Department of Banking and other regulatory organizations. Bill collaborates across all of Pitcairn's departments and is a member of the finance and risk management teams. In his 23 years with the company, Bill has served in management roles for the Operations department, the Human Resource department, and as leadership of the Building Administration function, as necessary. He served as Controller before assuming his current position. Prior to joining Pitcairn in 1989, Bill was a Manager of Attestation Service for Pricewaterhouse Coopers in their Baltimore, Maryland office. Bill received his BS in Accountancy from Villanova University. He is a Certified Public Accountant currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Bill previously served on the Board of Directors and was treasurer for Astral Artists.
