Biography

Mr. John Raebiger serves as Vice President- Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Pitcairn. In his role as Relationship Manager, JR is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of long-term financial plans for families. He works directly with clients to advise them on a wide array of financial matters. JR and his team assess their wealth structures in light of their goals in order to devise custom plans that meet their unique requirements. JR works across Pitcairn's tax, investments, and trust administration teams. JR has over 20 years of experience in fixed-income management. As the Director of Fixed Income, he is responsible for overseeing all fixed-income managers on the investment platform including manager selection, due diligence, and monitoring. Prior to Pitcairn's move to 100% open architecture, JR managed all of Pitcairn's fixed-income investments, including two bond mutual funds. He continues to actively manage a number of Pitcairn's taxable and tax-exempt bond portfolios. JR is a member of the Investment Strategy Committee and the Due Diligence committee and attends meetings of the Investment Policy Committee. Prior to joining Pitcairn in 2002, JR was a fixed-income portfolio manager at Davidson Trust Company. He was responsible for managing over $500 million of individual and institutional fixed-income assets. Before Davidson Trust Company JR was an institutional trader and bond salesman at Boenning & Scattergood. JR earned a BSBA in Finance from Shippensburg University and an MS in Finance from Temple University. He holds the designation of Certified Financial Planner and Certified Trust Financial Advisor. He is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, the CFA Institute, the National Trust Real Estate Association, and the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. He sits on both the Shippensburg University Foundation Board and the Shippensburg University College of Business Advisory Board.
