Biography

Mr. Bernard Yancovich serves as Managing Director, of Private Equity Investments and a Member of the Private Equity Investment and Sustainability Committee at GCM Grosvenor. He also serves as Managing Director and Member of the Private Equity Investment Committee and Sustainability Committee at GCM Grosvenor Private Markets. He is primarily responsible for overseeing the Private Markets' special situations vertical, which targets credit funds globally, as well as the group's secondary fund investment vertical. He is involved in relationship management, deal sourcing, and conducting due diligence on both fund and direct private equity investments. Before joining GCM Grosvenor, He was a Managing Director in the Customized Fund Investment Group of Credit Suisse Group AG, which he joined in 2000. Previously, he was an Investment Banking Associate at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ") and Credit Suisse where he worked on a variety of M&A advisory, equity, and debt financing and restructuring assignments in industries such as media, telecom, technology, healthcare, and industrials. Before joining DLJ, He performed transaction advisory services for KPMG in France. He received his Bachelor of Commerce with honors from McGill University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
