Biography

Dr. Sabina Bruehlmann is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Nimble Science. She co-founded and served as Director, of Technology at Zephyr Sleep Technologies. She has been focused on creating products that will fundamentally change the way sleep physicians prescribe oral appliance therapy. As Director of Research & Development, she leads a dedicated team of researchers working to develop new and innovative sleep medicine technologies. She draws on her experience in basic research, new technology development, medical device commercialization and her expertise in intellectual property strategy. Prior to starting Zephyr, she worked with medical device startups in Calgary as well as Silicon Valley, and was a Director of Partnerships, Manager Licensing and Business Development at University Technologies International Inc. She holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
