Biography
Mr. Steve MacDonald served as Managing Director at SDS Capital Group. He joined SDS Capital Group in 2008 as Managing Director, bringing more than two decades of diverse experience in economic development and government. He oversees operations for SDS Capital Group's New Market Tax Credit program, as well as the company's Fund Division and Community Development Group. Before joining SDS Capital Group, Mr. MacDonald served as president of Film L.A., the Los Angeles region's primary film office and the largest entertainment-based economic development corporation in the world. Mr. MacDonald led the firm's reorganization and developed financial and operational reforms that restored order and viability to the challenged agency as it emerged from public scandal. He earned a BS in Business Administration from San Diego State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
