Biography

Mr. Ben Chelf serves as a General Partner at Elementum Ventures. He also serves as an Advisor and Member of the Investment Committee at Sterling Road. He is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Sol Reader. He co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer at The Story Locker. He also served as a Board Member at GoCheck Kids. He and his partners boot-strapped Coverity, a software company that attracted significant investment (from the likes of Benchmark Capital and Foundation Capital), employed hundreds of people, and, in 2014, was acquired by Synopsys. He approaches ventures with a deep technical background and recent startup know-how. He's lived every part of the entrepreneurial cycle, served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer, and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience. He holds a BS and an MS in Computer Science, both from Stanford.
