Biography

Mr. Neil Sumner served as Director at PwC. Neil joined PwC from specialist engineering company, IMI plc, where he was global mergers and acquisitions manager. In this role, Neil led the key transactional activity for the FTSE100 group on a global basis, including the recent disposal of the company's Retail Dispense business to the Marmon Group for $1.1 billion. Prior to joining IMI, Neil worked for KPMG in Birmingham for 12 years, most recently working as corporate finance associate director, advising on company transactions including corporate and private disposals, buyside advice and refinancing. In his new role at PwC in the Midlands, Neil will be based in the firm's Birmingham office and will lead the corporate finance team's focus on industrial products, particularly in the automotive, aerospace and industrial engineering sectors.
