Biography

Mr. Mathias Seidel served as Co-Chief Risk Officer at Dunia Finance. He served as Global Credit Risk Review Leader for GE Capital International at GE Capital. Mathias has 27 years of experience in financial services and served in a wide range of global leadership assignments in consumer finance, universal banking and insurance. Before joining dunia, Mathias spent 18 years with GE Capital in senior Risk Management roles, including VP Risk Management of Global Consumer Finance, CRO of GE Money Asia, CRO of GE Money CEE and Head of Retail Risk in GE Global Banking. Mathias has successfully managed both consumer and commercial portfolios and served as CRO of a publically quoted fully regulated universal bank, Bank BPH in Poland. Mathias has completed an MBA in Finance from CASS Business School in London and a Master in International Relations from Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
