Biography

Mr. Mansur Shomali serves as Chief Medical Officer at WellDoc. In addition, he maintains an academic affiliation at the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he is a clinical associate professor, and also at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a member of the faculty. Mansur completed an internship and residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and his fellowships in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at the Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. Mansur's expertise is in complex pharmacologic approaches and in the use of technology in healthcare. He has published more than 25 peer-reviewed medical articles and textbook chapters. Currently, he is an active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Diabetes Association, and the Endocrine Society.
