Ms. April Kooiman is the Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at Praxis Healthcare Solutions. She serves as Operating Partner at Empactful Capital. She is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Prominen Management Group. Chief Executive Officer and President at Trilogi. She also co-founded the company. She has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare arena. She served as the Executive Director of Business Development at AHC, Inc., a national healthcare receivables management company for five years. She started her career in healthcare on the payer side, holding various management roles in Claims and Provider Relations. She has held such roles as Network Operations Manager for Accountable Health Plans, and Director of Claims and Provider Management, for TriWest Healthcare Alliance (TRICARE contractor) before moving her career to the receivables arena. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Texas in Arlington, Texas.
