Biography

Mr. Stephen McNamara served as Co-Chief Executive Officer at Uphold. He also co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer at Bitnet. Previously, he served as the Chief Technology Officer at CyberSource. He has hacked on complex software for over 20 years, working on everything from middleware and protocols, payments, and very large-scale test automation (think millions of tests). He has a degree in Software Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1991.
