Biography

Dr. Roger Lipson is the Founder, Owner & serves as Executive Coach at The Lipson Group. Dr. Lipson also serves as Partner at The Connor Group. He has spent more than 25 years developing and delivering innovative methods for coaching leaders, assessing executive talent and building executive development programs. He has been a frequent guest lecturer at the Yale School of Management and works nationally and internationally through The Lipson Group, his Lincoln, Nebraska-based consulting firm. His clients range from solo entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies. His personable and energetic coaching style makes him an invaluable advisor for executives, teams and organizations of all sizes. Known for directness, honesty, nuanced assessments and sharp perspective on leadership and team dynamics, he transforms talented executives into inspired leaders with improved decision-making and management abilities. His clarity, insight, thoughtful reflection and willingness to share the unvarnished truth helps leaders to better understand themselves and their impact on others and lead balanced and effective lives. Prior to forming The Lipson Group in 2002, he led the Measurement and Assessment practice as a partner at Kenexa with responsibility for all pre-employment selection and employee engagement work. As an executive vice president at The Gallup Organization, where he worked from 1984 to 1999, he contributed to Gallup's highly regarded Strengths Finder assessment and Q12 Employee Engagement Survey. He earned his doctorate at the University of Southern California, where he completed studies on the Big 5 Personality Model. His clients include The Walt Disney Company, TDAmeritrade, and Teach for America, and he is a dynamic speaker and presenter at business events around the globe.
