John Liu General Information
Biography
Mr. John Liu serves as Senior Partner & Managing Director at ChinaEquity Group. Mr. Liu joined ChinaEquity in 2009 and has been the Partner of ChinaEquity RMB Elite Fund I, Xin Zhong Rui Fund, Shengxin Runcheng Fund, and China New Opportunity USD Fund, responsible for portfolio investment evaluation, negotiation, execution, and management. He specialized in M&A, restructuring, and cross-border investments and focuses primarily on VC/PE investments in TMT, lifestyle, and Energy saving/ Environmental Protection sectors. Mr. Liu holds BS and MS degrees from Renmin University and an MBA from Rutgers Business School. He has acquired qualifications of both Independent Director and the Secretary of the Board.
