Biography

Ms. Helen Chen serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer & Senior Partner at ChinaEquity Group. She is the partner of China New Opportunity USD Fund, responsible for fund-raising, investor relations, and investment execution. Prior to the reunion with ChinaEquity, she has worked as a strategy consultant in multiple MNCs for over a decade. She has rich experiences in industry and market research, commercial investment analysis and strategy development. she had been a Senior Strategy Consultant of Insurance Australia Group, the second-largest General Insurer in Australia; former Senior Strategy Analyst for CSO office in Transfield Services, Australia's largest operation and maintenance provider; prior to that, she worked as a Senior Metals Business Analyst in British Oxygen Company, one of the world's largest industrial gas company. Before relocating to Australia, she had worked in ChinaEquity as a Senior Associate participating in a series of PE investment deals such as Longshine, Huayi Brothers, etc. Before that, she worked in Wuhan Development & Reform Committee focusing on supervising local listed companies' financing and investment. She also worked in China Chengxin Credit Management Company, China's largest credit rating company. She has gained an MBA Degree and Bachelor of Economics both from Wuhan University.
