Biography

Mr. John Brennan serves as a Managing Member of the General Partner at Holly Ventures. He serves as a Senior Partner at YL Ventures. He served as a Board Member at Cycode. He served as a Board Member at Vulcan. He served as a Board Member at Build. Security and Valence Security. He also serves as a Board Member at Valence Security. He is committed to mentoring YL Ventures' portfolio companies from their earliest days. He spends much of his time working with founders on business development, customer engagement, hiring, finance, fundraising, general strategy, and taking on active board positions. He also manages the firm's Venture Advisory Board, which now boasts over 100 cybersecurity experts. He has over 10 years of experience in venture capital, having previously held positions at Data Collective (DCVC), Horsley Bridge Partners, and OCA Ventures. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in economics and political science from Trinity College in 2009.
