Biography

Mr. Alexander von Mellenthin served as Managing Director at Capmont. As a board member in several of DICP's portfolio companies, as an advisor and entrepreneurial founder, he is actively involved in DICP's management and portfolio development. During his past 20 years with DICP and its affiliated companies, He has gained material knowledge and skills in management positions in advisory services and as a partner and board member in venture capital, private equity investments, and alternative investment funds. He has experience in industrial, business services, life science, health care, and real estate investments in all stages from start-up to growth. Before joining DICP, he served as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of several companies of the international advisory firm Goetzpartners. Previously, he served at the federal German privatization agency (Treuhandanstalt) and was an auditor at KPMG. He holds a master's in business administration and studied at the University of Goettingen. He has completed his state examination as a German-certified tax advisor.
