Biography

Mr. Jean-Philippe Besse served as a Board Member at Pradera. He Founded and served as Chairman of Parisian Real Estate Advisor. Jean Philippe Besse started his career in 1994 with AXA group in New York and Paris, where he was Head of Marketing for AXA France financial products. In 2001, he left AXA to co-found La Française des Placements - which subsequently became a leading French boutique in asset management. Since then, Jean Philippe Besse focused his career on sales and marketing for institutional investors, developing a consistent track record designing dedicated funds, initially with French investors. In 2007, he became Head of International Business Development of La Francaise des Placements, which then merged to become La Française AM. Under Jean Ph's leadership, the international business department saw inflows grow from zero to 27% of the total 2012 collection, representing 4% of € 37.2 billion AUM. From 2011, Jean Philippe Besse channeled his focus to Middle-Eastern business development, driving La Française AM to create its first Shariah-compliant French OPCI. Jean Philippe Besse is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and is an actuary.
