Biography

Dr. Sergey Vakula is a Co-Founder and serves as a Partner at Sergan Management. He has 25 years of experience managing projects and companies in Europe and worldwide, of different complexity and sizes, ranging from a few to several hundred million euros. From 2004 to 2013 he worked for a Russian Forbes-20 UHNWI, first in one of his business investment undertakings, and then creating and managing his Family Office in Geneva and then in Monaco, setting up operations and taking care of all aspects of the company ranging from real estate acquisition, construction and management throughout the world, to aircraft and yacht build and outfit, to lifestyle management and security. Between 2008 and the end of 2012 he was also the founder, co-owner, and CEO of a Swiss asset management company in Geneva. Prior to that, having received a Ph.D. in biochemistry, from 1991 to 2001 he worked in Italy, managing high-tech companies and projects, and between 2002 and 2004 went back to Moscow to work in executive positions in various financial investment institutions including a US venture capital firm, and with Interros and Alfa Group.
