Biography

Mr. Jupe Tan serves as Managing Partner, Asia Pacific & Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Plug and Play Tech Center. He served as an Advisor at Radarr and Axpara.com. He served as a Partner at TNB Ventures. He serves as an Advisor at Circus Social. He served as Head, Accelerator at SPH Plug and Play. He is a Co-Founder and serves as a Vice President of International Operations at the PNP TCF Multi-Stage Accelerator Program. He also served as a Partner at TNB Aura. He is overall responsible for international initiatives at Plug and Play, which includes the Plug and Play Accelerator programs for international startups as well as partnerships with multi-national corporations and governments from around the world. Plug and Play International has accelerated more than 300 startups from around the world in Silicon Valley and has launched programs and activities in Singapore, Canada, Spain, Russia, and Germany. Plug and Play has also invested in over 50 international startups globally. Before Plug and Play, He worked for the National University of Singapore (NUS). At NUS, he was the Program Director of NUS College in Silicon Valley, where he was responsible for managing the Silicon Valley operations for NUS. He has led Plug and Play's investments in ThoughtBuzz, First Meta, and Zukami. He holds a BA in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
