Biography

A 19-year veteran at Cisco, he has successfully led businesses across the enterprise and service provider market segments. In his most recent role, he was responsible for setting the direction for Cisco's next-generation enterprise architecture and integrating security and application awareness capabilities with the network and cloud. His previous roles included vice president and general manager of service provider infrastructure businesses, where he was instrumental in defining the product direction and strategy for Cisco's Core, Mobile & Broadband Edge business. He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He also serves on the Senior Advisory Council at the non-profit Industry Initiatives for Science & Math Education (IISME).
