Biography

Ms. Serena Shi is a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig. Ms. Shi served as Associate, Business Law Department & Member of Impact and Responsible Investing Practice at Goodwin. She served as an Associate at Brand Capital Advisors. She joined Brand Cap Advisors at the firm's founding in 2011. She worked with the founders to close transactions for Donald J Pliner and Hype Hair. She also interned at Reitler Advisory Group, working with emerging New York-based tech start-ups such as the FreeATM. Serena earned a B.S. in Finance with a Classics minor from New York University's Stern School of Business and is currently a J.D. candidate at Fordham University School of Law. Her Comment, Dragon's House of Cards: Perils of Investing in US-Listed, PRC-Based Variable Interest Entities, is to be published in the inaugural Asia-Pacific issue of the Fordham International Law Journal in April 2014. Ms. Shi works on a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments. She joined Goodwin in 2015.
