Biography

Mr. Eiraj Sohail serves as Investment Manager, Private Investments at Rice Management Company. Mr. Sohail served as a Senior Associate at HOOPP Capital Partners. In this role, he provides support to the Investment Team through investment and manager research as well as analysis and portfolio monitoring across various asset classes. Before joining Rice Management Company, Mr. Sohail spent eight years at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan ("HOOPP") in Toronto, Canada, a large Canadian pension plan managing over C$100bn in assets, most recently as a Principal within the Private Capital investment team. Before HOOPP, Mr. Sohail was an Associate at Northleaf Capital Partners primarily focusing on Private Equity and Venture Capital investing, and before that, he was an Investment Banking Analyst at Scotiabank within the M&A group based in Toronto, Canada. He received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2008.
