Biography
Mr. Donald Mowat served as Board Member at Aminex Therapeutics. Mr. Mowat has been a founder, investor and key director, advisor, management member in biotech firms for more than 25 years. He founded Bainbridge Sciences in 1985 and served as CEO until 1988 and then as Chairman for 5 years until the company was sold to CR Bard in 1993. The company developed rapid, easy-to-use medical diagnostic tests for cancer and infectious diseases. In 1993, Mr. Mowat co-founded Oridigm Corporation, the predecessor to MediQuest Therapeutics, served as interim CEO in 1999 and served as director until 2004. The company performed the research which led to the development of Aminex' PaBT anticancer technology. Don graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
