Biography

Mr. Rodolfo Spielmann is the Founder & serves as Managing Partner at South Capital Patagonia. He served as Managing Director & Head of Latin America at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. He is responsible for leading the CPP Investment Board in Latin America. Based in São Paulo, he covers all aspects of CPPIB's mandate, including our Latin American advisory relationships, and provides active leadership and coordination of our activities in these markets. He has 21 years of consulting with Bain & Company, of which the past 14 years have been in Brazil. Most recently he was Practice Leader, South America Financial Services, at Bain & Company establishing the Financial Services practice and building it into a market leader. Prior experience includes Deutsche Bank Commercial and Corporate Banking in Spain and Germany. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School in Philadelphia, USA, and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
