Biography

Dr. Parastoo Khoshakhlagh is a Co-Founder and serves as a Chief Executive Officer at Tympanogen. She is the Co-Founder and serves as Chief Executive Officer at GC Therapeutics. She previously served as Chief Scientific Officer and Senior Vice President at Tympanogen. She is a Co-Founder and serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member at GC Therapeutics. She has over 10 years of experience in the development, characterization, and evaluation of biomaterials in animal and cellular models. Her regenerative medicine expertise ranges from designing novel tissue constructs to formulating novel bioglass compositions to guiding stem cell differentiation. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Dr. Ali Khademhosseini's laboratory at the Harvard-MIT Department of Science and Technology and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. George Church's laboratory at Harvard Medical School. She received her BS in Materials Science from the Iran University of Science and Technology, her MS in Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.
