Biography

Mr. Mohamed Abousalem served as the Chairman at Nanalysis. With over 24 years of experience in the geomatics industry, including product management, marketing, engineering and corporate development, Dr. Abousalem has led the establishment of TECTERRA's operations and the launch of its programs and activities. Mohamed is a civil engineering graduate from Alexandria University in Egypt, and he holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and an MBA from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business. Immediately before joining TECTERRA, Mohamed was Vice President Corporate Development at Hemisphere GPS, where he led the company's marketing, business development and human resources functions. Mohamed's prior engagements included senior international roles at geomatics companies including Magellan Navigation and Racal Surveys. Dr. Abousalem has a PhD in Engineering from the University of Calgary and an MBA from Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley where he worked for 10 years. He has 20 years engineering, marketing, M&A, and operations experience in small and large technology companies.
