Biography

Anastasija Snicarenko served as an Associate Attorney at Cypress. She is a woman inspired by her surroundings. After working with Cypress originally as a legal assistant in 2009, Anastasija returned to the firm as a law clerk during law school, and joined the firm as a litigation associate in 2013. Anastasija received her law degree in 2012 from the University of Iowa College of Law and spent her final law school year at the UCLA School of Law. Anastasija served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ruben Castillo, U.S. District Court, Central District of Illinois, in 2011. During law school, she served as President of the Iowa Campaign for Human Rights, was a Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition finalist, and was an active participant in Mediation Clinic. Prior to choosing law, Anastasija did her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communications, which she completed magna cum laude with a B.A. in Communications. Anastasija was born in Latvia and is fluent in Russian and Latvian.
