Biography
Ms. Karen Ackman is a Co-Founder & serves as Advisory Board Member & Trustee at Pershing Square Foundation. Karen is a landscape architect and artist who has focused her career on public work as a designer for the Central Park Conservancy, Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and Judith Heintz Landscape Architecture. Karen currently volunteers and serves on the board of directors of the High Line, an elevated railway which is in the process of being converted to a public park. Karen received her M.L.A. from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a B.A. from Vassar College. She serves on the boards of The Dalton School, Human Rights Watch and Vassar College.
