Biography

Mr. Rick Costello serves as Co-Chief Executive Officer at MKB Company. Mr. Costello served as an Operating Partner at Align Capital Partners. Prior to joining Align Capital Partners, he spent over 25 years managing and owning businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. He began his career in specialty manufacturing in a family-owned business (Kent Corporation) that was a world leader in the production of productivity-enhancing machinery to customers in over 50 countries around the world. He continued his career as President of Spectrum Surgical Instruments Corporation where he led the company's expansion and eventual sale to STERIS Corporation in 2012. He held various leadership positions at STERIS's IMS Division, participating in the acquisition of seven companies in the surgical instrument repair industry, making STERIS the industry leader in the space. He has participated in 15 mergers and acquisition transactions totaling over $300 million of enterprise value. His management experience, leadership, operational expertise, and passion help Align Capital Partners develop its portfolio of companies. He holds a BS from John Carroll University in Marketing and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, where he was a Beta Gamma Sigma Scholar.
