Biography
Ms. Judith McGee was a Co-Founder and served as Executive Vice President, Senior Client Advisor, Chairwoman, and Chief Executive Officer at McGee Wealth Management. She previously co-owned the company. She also serves as Co-Branch Manager at Raymond James Financial Services. Throughout her career, Her passion has been to share her years of experience and financial insight with her clients, with whom she builds strong, lasting relationships based on mutual trust. As an ardent consumer finance advocate, her approach has always been consumer-oriented and global in focus, specializing in investment management, retirement and estate planning, succession planning, and strategic philanthropy. She is proud to be included in the 2019 Investment News "Women on the Move"1 and in 2019, Barron's magazine named McGee to its Hall of Fame1. She's been on its list of Top 1,200 Wealth Advisors in the U.S.1 2009-2019 and has ranked her as Oregon's top advisor 2014-20191. Financial Times has listed the firm on their list of Top 4001 nationally 2014-2019 and in the Top 3001 in 2017 and 2018. In 2015, she was inducted into the prestigious Research Magazine's Advisor Hall of Fame1. In 1979, she became one of the first women in the western United States to be a Certified Financial Planner™3 professional. In November 1989, she joined Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC ("RJFS"). McGee has been a member of the top advisor RJFS Chairman's Council since 19922. She is a respected national speaker and published author by Simon and Schuster and Random House. Her topics include personal economics, leadership, and the dynamics of families and generations. She has been a columnist and a guest columnist for the Portland Business Journal as well as other publications. She contributed to the CRIMELINE Law Enforcement Training Program, sponsored by Experian, Financial Exploitation of Seniors and Investment Fraud. The project became an extended learning program, which won the Platinum Award for Excellence in online learning at Bellevue University in New York in 2007. At MWM, her influence has created a culture of giving back to the community. She was a founding member of the Board of Directors of Town Center Bank, which was purchased by Columbia Bank of Tacoma, Washington, in 2007 and served on their Oregon Advisory Board. She currently serves on the President's Advancement Council for Warner Pacific College and has played a key role in developing the Social Entrepreneurship degree program. She is a former trustee for the Multnomah County Library Foundation and is currently Board Treasurer of the NW Rice Museum of Rocks & Minerals and a member of the Oregon Business Council Task Force on Poverty. Most recently, she co-founded Women's Leadership Alliance, Inc., Florida, a non-profit dedicated to the advancement of women and others in the financial services profession. She received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters (LHD) from Warner Pacific College in 1993 for her life achievements, published works, and service. She earned a degree from Warner Pacific College in 1993.
