Biography

Mr. Bret Moberg JD served as Compliance Counsel at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Bret Moberg joined the University in 2003 as its first University-wide compliance officer after completing 20 years of service in the United States Navy. He began his military career in naval aviation and subsequently was selected into the Navy's Law Education Program. Upon earning his Juris Doctor from Baylor University in 1991, Mr. Moberg practiced as an attorney in the Navy's Judge Advocate General's Corps, concentrating in criminal litigation, employment law, and federal administrative law. In 2000, he earned his Master of Laws in Health Law from DePaul University and was assigned to a naval hospital as its in-house counsel. At the University, Mr. Moberg created and currently administers the University's compliance program, provides legal advice and counsel to the University, and teaches on topics relating to bioethics and health law in several courses offered at the University. Mr. Moberg is licensed to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in Illinois.
