Mr. Michael Ward serves as Managing Director at Orchard MB. He served as a President & Chief Executive Officer at 79 Capital Securities. He a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) is a recognized expert in the field of global investing. He has been interviewed by the financial press, including Bloomberg Television, CNN, Fox News, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and CNBC. He is the former President and owner of International Assets Advisory, LLC, a 25-year-old full service broker/dealer with over 3.000 clients in 49 states. Initially hired as a research analyst in 1997, Mike became President in 2003 and sold the firm in 2007. Mike was personally responsible for the creation and design of various investment vehicles that have raised over $500 million in assets. As President and owner of 79 Capital Group, Mike specializes in the areas of Corporate Finance and M&A transactions for middle market companies across a wide variety of industries. Representative investment banking transactions include company sales, capital placements and complex debt financings. Mike is also the owner and President of 79 Capital Securities, a FINRA/SEC registered Broker/Dealer. Mike holds an MBA in Finance/Accounting from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a BBA in Finance from Stetson University. He is the past President for the CFA Orlando Society and was a Senior Grader for the CFA exam from 1999 to 2005. He holds series 4, 7, 24, 28, 53, 63, 65 and 79 licenses.
