Biography
Dr. Norman Sohn served as Managing Director at Beacon Wealth Management. Dr. Norman Sohn has over forty years of experience running a successful, referral based surgical practice. He understands the complexity of issues facing medical professionals - namely asset protection, principal protection, investment tax strategies, maximizing revenue, and freedom from dealing with multiple advisors. From this perspective, Dr. Sohn provides expert guidance to surgeons, physicians, and the medical community. He is also cofounder of the annual Ira W. Sohn Investment Research Conference , along with his wife Judith. After graduating magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with honors from City College of New York, Dr. Sohn attended New York University School of Medicine and then went on to complete a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Lahey Clinic in Boston. In 2003, Dr. Sohn received his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed the coursework required for Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP™). Dr. Sohn holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(SM) credential by the College for Financial Planning and Series 65 registered. He is a member of Beacon's Investment Advisory Group.
