Biography

Mr. Marcel Hollerbach serves as Entrepreneurial Partner at Cavalry Ventures. He also is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Innovation Officer and Board Member at Productsup, the company empowering commerce, where he's responsible for shaping offerings and go-to-market strategies based on the evolving retail and technology landscape. Prior to serving as CIO, he led Productsup's marketing initiatives as Chief Marketing Officer for nearly a decade. In that role, he oversaw the development of the Productsup brand, expanded the company to new markets, supported year-over-year sales growth, and ultimately, helped Productsup become a competitive global player in the P2C space. A serial entrepreneur, he is also a founding partner of venture capital fund Cavalry Ventures, which specializes in early-stage investments in European tech startups. He also founded the video streaming platform hiClip, which was acquired by Adconion Media Group, as well as NativeAds, which merged with Seeding Alliance and was later acquired by Ströer. He studied business informatics at Würzburg and Stanford. His expertise in eCommerce means he has a solid understanding of user behavior in a digitized world, as well as the importance and impact of high-quality, contextualized product data.
