Biography

Mr. Don Blount serves as General Partner at Visionary Private Equity Group. He brings over seventeen years of extensive experience in management, operations, quality assurance and maintenance of complex technological systems with a number of Fortune 500 companies including Boeing, Ford, Mitsubishi, Henkel and several others. His expertise in manufacturing technologies and communication improved processes and customer satisfaction. Throughout his career, he worked closely with over 1,200 different suppliers leading and participating in cross-functional process teams throughout several regional plants. With this experience, Don is equipped with the knowledge and skills to implement practices and procedures that provide technical assistance to customers and suppliers, improving both the manufacturing processes and customer relationships. Don holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Manufacturing from Illinois State University. He spent six years in the U.S. Air Force. Don is a veteran of The Gulf War, having served as a crew chief on the B1 Bomber during "Operation Desert Storm."
