Biography

Mr. Ronald Chamness served as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Board Member at Rock River Resources. Previously he served as Managing Director at WoodRock & Company. He has over 27 years of management consulting, operation, finance, and global business development experience in the high-tech manufacturing, energy, financial services and telecommunication industries. Prior to joining WoodRock, Mr. Chamness was a co-founder and SVP of Business Development and International for SalvageSale (now Asset Nation), a global online marketplace for used commercial assets and heavy equipment, where he ran the domestic sales effort from 2004 to 2006, and then lead the international expansion into the UK, Europe, Latin America and Asia. In 2000 the company raised Venture Capital to seed their growth and successfully sold the company to a Private Equity firm in 2007, the company was subsequently purchased by Ritchie Bothers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest seller of used equipment. Prior to SalvageSale, Mr. Chamness spent 12 years in the management consulting business where he most recently was a Principal at CSC Consulting in Houston. As a management consultant, Mr. Chamness focused on supply chain and order management strategies and solutions in the high-tech manufacturing, energy and telecommunication industries. Mr. Chamness has deep experience as a principal in Private Equity backed businesses who are active in M&A and strategic alliance transactions along with the relevant financial structuring. Mr. Chamness holds a BSME from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
