Biography

Ms. Roberta Brzezinski serves as Partner at Control Risks Group. Ms. Brzezinski served as Chief Executive Officer & Director at Capitalworks Emerging Markets. She serves as Investment Committee Chair at Falcon Venture Partners. Ms. Brzezinski served as Managing Principal at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. She also served as Senior Advisor at TAU Investment Management. She is a US-based pension fund executive and part-time Senior Advisor to the TAU Investment Committee. Previously, she helped to develop TAU's investment strategy and Asia-based investment and operations team. She is a career emerging/ frontier market private equity investor who was one of the four original partners of Abris Capital Partners, a $960 million Central/East European growth buyout firm founded by a former partner at Advent International. Before Abris, She was a managing director at Emerging Markets Partnership, and manager of the $6 billion AIG Infrastructure Funds, where she was a colleague of Ken Katz's. While at EMP, She focused on Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. She was previously with New Century Holdings and the International Finance Corporation. She holds degrees from Georgetown and Harvard.
