Biography

Mr. Stephen McGibbon served as Executive Vice President, Product Development at Premier Royalty. Stephen McGibbon is a Professional Geologist with over 28 years of exploration, mine production and management experience. He graduated from Queen's University at Kingston, in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences. From 1994 until 2006, Stephen served as both Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager for Goldcorp Inc., at its flagship Red Lake Mine operation. Stephen was a senior member of the team that discovered the "High Grade Zone", the world's highest grade gold deposit and perhaps the most important gold discovery of the last 20 years. In his capacity as Chief Geologist and Exploration Manager, Stephen lead the talented team of geologists that helped transform the marginal, high-cost operation into an unparalleled mining success. Stephen has established a very successful track record at Premier Gold Mines Ltd., where during his tenure as Executive Vice-President & COO, the company has assembled an enviable portfolio of early and advanced stage exploration projects.
